Six Pixels of Separation

My good friend Mitch Joel’s book Six Pixels of Separation is out today. Ive read the pre release and it really is a great book about connecting in this new world we live in. Mitch was the catalyst that sent me on my quest to build community, here on this blog, social networks and now my own project DEQQ. If your interested in the way we connect then this is the place to start Six Pixels of Separation

Sounds interesting! I will definitely be picking up a copy! Thanks for the heads up!
Wonderful to see publications like this coming out!
While networking is key for any career/business, really–the internet is really quite revolutionizing communication and making the world a much smaller, more accessible place. A lot of people don’t know how to really take advantage of this largely valuable tool yet, and by the sounds of it, that’s what this book is all about teaching :]
I may have to give it a read as well.
Cheers!
I have it ! I am reading it now and I find its very interesting and helping me not just understand these new medias but also, get a hold of the new resources available since web 2.0 arrived. Very well written with good examples and concrete ways to make it happen for me! I hope I can catch one of his conference soon!!! Thanks David for making me discover this guy!
I am on page 200 of Mitch Joels book, six pixels of separation. I must say it is very inspirational and easy to read. I’ve been diving into it in 2 mile chunks on the treadmill every other day. It makes my workouts go fast!
My favorite parts of the book aside from all of the wonderful success stories is the “think small, grow big” strategies. It is a very interesting balance between tapping into one or more focused passions contained deep within all of all of us and sharing it thoughtfully and consistently with a community that goes as far as the eye can and can’t see.
I am so glad my wife and I went on a late night shopping spree a few weeks back to Borders Book Store (the only place still open) and the cover of 6.p.o.s. caught my eye.
I can’t wait until I am done so I can read it again.
will sure need to check it out david. i like the book’s synopsis and am definitely interested in the way we connect! :]
